Use Divide Segments (Misc) when placing posts, piers, etc.. Make sure to have Snap (F11 key) on

taoist: I have been in the construction industry for over 30 years. Mainly residential, light commercial. Started helping my Dad with his building for his electronic business. I have built modulars, panelized, custom, apartment buildings and passive solar/super insulated homes. My Dad designed the 1978 Leger House which was a Passive/Super insulated home in New England. I have extensive remodeling experience in residential and have remodeled several restaurants and tenant fit ups. I have been using SoftPlan since V.12 and currently using V.2012.2.2.
